Love+

It's funny how Sugarpill's Love+ is an intense red but turns bright pink when blended out. I love it both ways though!

My hair's purple!

Long story short: The purple hair was very impulsive - choice of dye included. It didn't turn out as I expected, but it's growing on me. No pun intended...

The best thing: Nothing makes makeup more fun than a new hair color!

What's the craziest hair color you've ever had? :)

Red. Purple. Gold.

Purple and red is a long time favorite of mine as far as color combinations go. Add a little gold and I'm in love!
This look turned out a bit darker than I intended thanks to the dramatic black liner.

And I have no idea what's up with all the nude lips lately. Challenge to myself: The next look I post needs to be featuring BRIGHT GLITTERY lips. Or something like that...

Arabic-looking liner

I didn't really know where I was going with this but I think it ended up being quite Arabic-makeup-like :)
When I was done, I realized that I might have been inspired by this look by the lovely Queen of Blending as well.

The Red Shoes tutorial

This is such an old look that I never got around to posting - probably mostly because the pictures are quite terrible.

However, I really wanted to share the look since I love the makeup itself.
Inspired by The Red Shoes, which you should absolutely watch if you haven't ;)

There's the inspiration picture as well as a video tutorial behind the cut :)

Face of the Day: Love+

I'm loving the combination of red and purple at the moment, so it seemed like an obvious choice to use those colors when I had some time to play around with my makeup today.

I used my very favorite red eyeshadow: Sugarpill's Love+, but was quite surprised to see how pink it looked with the other colors. Oh well, I still think it's purrrtty :)

There are two different lip looks behind the cut - one version that's more matte and one that's more glossy. I did the matte one first, but while I liked the fading effect, I really didn't like how it looked with the eyes, so I ended up putting a gloss on top :)

Blue liner... And lips?! + tutorial

I guess the inspiration for this look came from a look one of my colleagues did at work, but I used completely different products and it turned out a bit different :)

I just really think the blue lips are fun :D

Look & Tutorial inspired by Make Up Store magazine!

I had so much fun doing this look!
Like I say in the video, the look was inspired by a look from an old Make Up Store magazine, which you can find on page 106 here.
I've looked at that picture so many times without ever trying to recreate it but I'm so glad I finally did! :)

Do you ever try to recreate looks you've seen other people do?
I rarely recreate other people's looks but I get inspired by them very often :)

Green brows?!

Wow, I've missed blogging! Basically, I've been busy with school and getting to know a ton of new people there, so blogging hasn't really been a top priority, unfortunately :/
I really, really hope to get back into blogging regularly, but I don't know when that'll happen. After all, it's "just" a hobby for me.

Thanks for sticking with me, I really appreciate all you guys!! :)

I have a post coming up with some of the new 80's Child collection colors from Glamour Doll Eyes  later today but I have this look to share first! :D

Yeah, I bleached my brows to be able to do fun colors on them more easily, haha! :)

So, as promised, here's the first look from the Gaga Telephone video!
To those of you who don't want to see more Gaga looks than what's already on YouTube, just skip this post :)
I promise not to go completely Gaga! I'll have other looks and tutorials coming in between the Telephone ones that I plan to do! :)

FOTD + tutorial: Bright cat eye

I still haven't had the time to write the mascara reviews... Hmm... I suck, haha! But they will be up! Eventually! :)
A makeup look with a tutorial will have to do for now :)

Fade To Pink look + tutorial

I got a request to do a tutorial for this look but I find it quite uninspiring to do the same look more than once so I figured I'd at least use different colors! :)

Dramatic Style Black look + tutorial

I know, I know! I've been away for so long already!
I finally had the time to do a tutorial!
A new vlog + biiiig haul video from Canada is coming up next :)

As I say in the video, I know that black lips is not for everyone, but I really love them and even wear them out! Wow, an easy way to get attention on the street, haha! :)
What's your thoughts on back ?

Experimenting ;)

Let's just say that I had fun ;)
I took way too many pictures but I wanted to show everything in detail :P

I didn't add any blush at first because I wanted to focus on the eyes. I wanted super pale lips too but I couldn't find Myth and concealer feels so dry so I ended up using Blankety which looks like crap in the pictures. Oh well :P

Then I changed the lips:

Aaaaand added some crazy blush!

MAC Marine Ultra pigment (PRO)
MAC Greenplay lll (not waterline safe so use at your own risk)
MAC Luna CCB + MAC Reflects pink glitter (highlight)

Cheeks:
Nothing in the first pictures. MAC Azalea blush (PRO) in the last picture.
