(Huge) Lodon haul! :D

First of all, I just want to say that I'm not posting this to brag or anything like that and I really don't hope it seems like it :/ I'm just a crazy makeup junkie who saved up for a shopping spree and wants to share her purchases with all her lovely followers!! :)

I wasn't sure if I should post everything in one big post or keep the things from each brand in separate posts, but I decided to just post the haul pictures of everything in this post, and if you're interested in seeing reviews on any of the products, let me know and I'll do separate posts with that :)

More polish!

I know, I know! More nail polish ;)
But since I keep buying them, I might as well share them with you, right? :)
(also because I suck and haven't had time to do any "real" posts, haha!)

I bought all of these before going to London, but haven't had the time to post about them yet. I hope to post haul pictures from London really soon! I got some great things :)
I also really hope to have time for some FOTDs and tutorials soon, but we'll see :)

Great things come wrapped in panda paper!

Are you tired of seeing Fyrinnae hauls yet? ;)

Few things excite me more than getting new makeup ;)

I ordered all of this on May 16th(a Sunday), and it shipped on May 24th(a monday). It said on the website to expect 12-18 business days for the order to process, so Fyrinnae worked faster than I expected once again :)

For this order, I decided that I needed all of Fyrinnae's "brightest" colors!
...And a couple of other ones as well.

Polish!

I'm a little sad, that I couldn't get any OPI polishes with my order.
Why? Because the online retailers can't sell OPI anymore!
Guess I won't be getting more OPI polishes ;)

I ordered all of these from 8ty8 on May 27th and they arrived today! May 31st :)

Collective Haul: MAC, OPI, GOSH

My super sweet colleague Marie Louise went to Hamburg this past weekend and she was sweet enough to bring me a couple of things form the To The Beach collection (which isn't being released here until June 15th for whatever reason), and I'm really excited!
She also brought me an OPI polish that I'd been wanting and a nailpolish remover with a pretty interesting smell... ;)

This post is both the things Marie Louise brought me from Hamburg but also a couple of things I've picked up at MAC at home as well as a few GOSH things I just found on sale today :)

Pretty colors make me happy! :D

I just received another Fyrinnae order in the mail!
23 eyeshadow samples, 1 free eyeshadow sample and a mini lip lustre.
Am I excited?
YESSS :D

When I placed my order, it said on the website to allow 20-24 business days to process the order, but I got an e-mail after just 6 days saying that my order had shipped :)

I'm going post swatches later, but for now, here's a list of what I got! :)

Huge MAC "haul"!

An(other) long overdue post!

This post is about all the amazing new products I got at Update last week!
I wanted to post about everything earlier but just haven't had the time.
Blogging would be so much easier if I didn't have a job (or two) I had to take care of too, haha ;)

I'm going to post pictures of everything I got from the new collections as well as sharing my thoughts on everything.
The only collection that isn't out in the US yet is the To The Beach collection, but I did get things from Prep for Colour, Liberty of London and Pret-a-Papier as well :)

Haul: Fyrinnae!

Can you believe that this is actually my first time ordering from Fyrinnae?!

Don't worry - Except for the Pixie Epoxy on the side, everything is sample sizes (and one was even free!) so I didn't spend a crazy amount of money even though I did get a pretty crazy amount of products for a first haul from somewhere ;)

I'm afraid that this new Fyrinnae relationship could turn into a dangerous addiction.

Haul: China Glaze Poolside

I have a confession. I probably checked 8ty8 every ten minutes to make sure that I ordered these polishes right when the Poolside collection was up. I said "yayyy" out loud when it was finally there - completely forgetting about my sister sitting next to me ;)

I've been super into everything bright and neon lately, so I decided to get all the six colors from the collection.

Haul & Swatches: OCC Lip Tars!

I finally gave in and ordered some of the famous Lip Tars from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics! ;)

I'll have a full review up later when I've had the chance to actually use them some more, but for now, I just have some swatches and first impression thoughts to share!

Haul: MAC Liberty of London

I know that the Liberty of London collection is super old news to those of you in the US and Canada, but it actually isn't released here until April 15th! I was lucky enough to get my hands on some goodies yesterday though ;)

As always, I'm going to be honest with you here. I'm not a fan of the packaging in this collection. I might be the only one who doesn't like it but it's just not "me". Sure, it's cute and all, but idk... I'm not a fa.
I do have one nice thing to say about the packaging: Unlike the Dame Edna lipsticks, which had stickers on them, these little flowers and birds are actually printed on (if that's what you call it?) so they won't fall off ;)

HAUL: China Glaze and OPI

As some of you may be aware, China Glaze and OPI isn't available where I live. It might be possible to buy OPI at some salons, but they're crazy expensive. I'm pretty sure I saw them for around $30 once!

Ohh, the joys of online shopping! ;)

Swatches: Twi-Shadows from Glamour Doll Eyes

Glamour Doll Eyes isn't taking over my blog, I promise! ;) But I just got something exciting in the mail and wanted to share! ;)
These were the products I bought after receiving some to review, which I did here.

I got the Twi-Shadows, which are all inspired by characters from the Twilight Saga.

Keep reading to see swatches and my thoughts on each color!

Review + Swatches: Sugarpill has arrived!

Last time I wrote about Sugarpill, I wrote about how I wasn't supposed to buy it.
Well. My no-buy didn't last for very long though and I ended up ordering a few things! ;)

I wanted to share my excitement when the order arrived yesterday, but I wasn't able to take pictures and what would a Sugarpill post be without pictures?!
I did tweet about it though :)

I did get some pictures today though, so here they are along with a (quite long) review!

Hair product haul!

Wondering why I don't think I should buy more beauty products this month and therefore can't get Sugarpill, which I talked about yesterday?

The answer came today, brought to my doorstep in this box!

Another GOSH haul!

I'm pretty bad.
My excuse?
The department store I work in had an amazing GOSH sale!

We're talking products for only 1/3 of the price!
Why?
Because it was all limited edition and discontinued shades! :D

So, what's the MAC Shadestick doing in the picture?!
Well... You see... It wasn't on sale or anything, but I had to have it to put under one of those GOSH effect powders! I swatched the two together and couldn't resist!
I'll post swatches tomorrow when I have daylight to take pictures in.
I might need to post swatch pictures of all my effect powders soon? ;)

  • GOSH Golden Star effect powder - This is actually my favorite product that I got. You have to see what it looks like on top of the shadestick that I got as well. One word that describes it? WOW! (And not in the Warcraft sense :P )
It's a light, almost white, color with super small gold glitters in it. Reminds me of the MAC Reflects Glitters but a bit less glitter and smoother in application.
I might just have to do a tutorial using this! ;)
  • GOSH Paradise effect powder - A very pale golden color but it has a green undertone to it that makes it quite unique. I wore this today with MAC Copperplate eyeshadow in the crease and the two made up a very interesting but pretty neutral look.
  • GOSH Cyanic effect powder -  This is one bright blue! It does remind me a bit of MAC Electric Eel eyeshadow, but I haven't swatched the two side by side.
  • GOSH Golden Gate effect powder - Very smooth and super shiny gold!
  • GOSH Green Star effect powder - Very nice, dark green. I think it's going to look very pretty on top of a green base but by itself it isn't too special.
  • GOSH Bottle effect powder - Another one I really, really like. It's a green base color with super small silver glitters in it. Not glitters like in Purple Rain effect powder (I hate that color. Absolutely hate. So chunky!) but glitters that apply very nice and smooth.
  • GOSH #16 extreme art eyeliner - Almost like a brick red. Very interesting color that I'm looking forward to using!
  • MAC Cuddle shadestick - As I mentioned above, I fell in love with this when I swatched it underneath Golden Star. It's a very pretty color by itself as well, but I only ever use shadesticks unless regular eyeshadows, so they have to work well for that.

GOSH haul

I guess I'm lucky these days!
Last week I got 50% off on these MAC goodies, and yesterday I was lucky enough to walk by a store that had GOSH products for 50% off!
Actually, all their cosmetics were 50% off, but the only things they had left that I wanted were these GOSH products!

  • Extreme Art Eyeliner #25 - I love the Extreme Art Eyeliners! Very similar to the MAC liquidlast liners with the only difference being that the GOSH ones come in a much better variety of colors! Hear that, MAC?! GOSH makes more colors than you now!
The one I got is a very dark gray. Not the most exciting color but I just realized that I don't own a gray liquid liner!
  • Soft 'n Shine lip balm #39 Sweetheart - For the longest time, I refused to buy the Soft 'n Shine lip balms because I think they're a MAC Slimshine knock-off. However, after seeing all the MAC slimshines being discontinued(What's up with that MAC?!), I thought that I might as well try this and see how it compares. The color I got is a very pretty soft pink.
  • Yellow Sea Horse effect powder - Have I ever mentioned that I love effect powders?! This color is a pale yellow with a green duochrome to it, very similar to MAC Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow.
  • #101 On Stage cool lip jam - The On Stage cool lip jams feel kinda cooling on the lips (which I imagine is why they got their name?) and I think they're my favorite lip product from GOSH. This color is clear but has a blue duochrome to it which makes it very similar to Benefit California Kissin' lipgloss.
  • #105 On Stage cool lip jam - This color is very different from the other ones I own! It's amazingly pigmented and has a very cool looking blue-violet duochrome too it.

MAC haul!

If you follow me on Twitter, you might have read, that I hauled a little at MAC last week.
I only just had the time to post about it here, but better late than never, right? ;)

My local MAC counter had 50% off on some of the old LE and DC items that they still had and I took advantage of it! ;)

Here's what I got!

  • All Nighter PRO longwear (DC) - I absolutely adore dark lips and I don't know how I didn't get this sooner! I've worn it at the counter a couple of times and it's such a lovely color. I really like the pro longwears, but I rarely buy them because of the price :/
  • Saddle e/s (DC) - A basic medium brow. Not super special and not the best selling product (which I guess is why they're DCing it) but I think it's a nice color to have.
  • Reflects Rust glitter (PRO. LE at counters w/ Makeup Art Cosmetics '09) - I pretty much collect pigments and glitters, so there was no way I could pass on this ;) I've worn it at the counter a few times and I think my favorite way to use it is on top of a black liner.
  • Cocomotion pigment (LE w/ Makeup Art Cosmetics '09) - This has been out before and I always liked the color but just didn't love it enough to pay full price, so now was the time to get it!
  • Mega-Rich pigment (LE a loooooong time ago... w/ Overrich '08) - Another pretty pigment that I've been looking at ever since it came out but only just bought! *happy dance*
  • Skinsheen leg spray in the lightest color (medium dark) (LE) - I'm actually very happy with my pale self, but at the same time I like to change up my look as much as possible :) (with the exception being my hair. I'm just not a hair person, lol) I find the skinsheens to be pretty buildable but at the same time very easy to get to apply even. I also like how they don't transfer onto clothes (haven't tried with white clothing though, and I'm probably not going to take the risk!) but still wash off easily so I can go back to my nearly-corpse-color whenever I want ;)
