But oh well.. I bought four of these things myself, and that's a lot in my student budget! ;)

UV makeup: Kryolan vs. Wolfe

UV makeup sounds fun, doesn't it?!
But if you've ever used it, you probably know that it can be a bit of a pain to work with!

I got a hold of two different types of UV neon makeup, so let me start by showing you what they look like!

MAC Viva Glam for Fall 2010 swatches and thoughts

This fall, MAC are coming out with two new additions to the Viva Glam family; Gaga lipglass and Cyndi lipglass!

Dare to Wear swatches and thoughts

Back in 2007 MAC released a collection called C Shock. This was the first MAC collection I remember buying something from, and I remember being super excited about all the bright eyeshadows in the collection.

Unfortunately, all the products above aren't mine, but I had the chance to borrow them and swatch them all for you! :)

I also filmed a tutorial with some of the products but I'm not sure if I'll be able to have it up before I leave for London tomorrow morning. I'm working on it! :)

Inglot swatches!

I mentioned these shadows when I got them a few weeks ago and finally had time to put up the swatches now! :)


Inglot is a Polish brand, and it's not really that easy to find information about it online. They don't seem to have an online store or anything like that.
As far as I know, there's only one Inglot store in the US (in New York) and I've heard that there's one in London as well, so I plan on checking that out when I go next week! That's right! I'm going to London :D

More Fyrinnae Love: Swatches!

I'm obsessing a little over all the gorgeous Fyrinnae eyeshadows - in case you hadn't noticed ;)


I'm still amazed at how big a color selection they have and how complex and unique their shadows are. They're really just gorgeous! :)


This time, I also have a swatch of one of their Lip Lustres to share. I'm really looking forward to trying it out on my lips :)

Firecracker vs. Hot, Hot, Hot!

That title probably doesn't make any sense unless you know it's the names of two MAC eyeshadows ;)

Hot, Hot, Hot came out with the Spring Colour Forecast collection earlier this year and Firecracker is being released with the To The Beach collection on May 27th (US launch date).

They do look a bit alike, so I thought I'd do a comparison swatch to show you that they are, in fact, different enough to have both ;) At least if you're like me, and love colors like these, haha!

Swatches: Fyrinnae!

For the past couple of hours, I've been cropping swatch pictures and writing this blog post.
Why did it take so long?
Because I was multi tasking! Trying to decide which colors to get in my next Fyrinnae order! ;)

For now, I bring you the swatches of the colors I got in this haul :)

I got something pretty in the mail again!

I love bright sparkly things in cute packaging and I'm happy to admit it!

Swatches: Yellow eyeshadows!

I got a request to swatch Suarpill's Buttercupcake next to MAC Chrome Yellow eyeshadow and Primary Yellow pigment.

When I had swatched those three I figured I might as well swatch all of my yellow eyeshadows for good measure! ;)

Swatches: Twi-Shadows from Glamour Doll Eyes

Glamour Doll Eyes isn't taking over my blog, I promise! ;) But I just got something exciting in the mail and wanted to share! ;)
These were the products I bought after receiving some to review, which I did here.

I got the Twi-Shadows, which are all inspired by characters from the Twilight Saga.

Review + Swatches: Sugarpill has arrived!

Last time I wrote about Sugarpill, I wrote about how I wasn't supposed to buy it.
Well. My no-buy didn't last for very long though and I ended up ordering a few things! ;)


I wanted to share my excitement when the order arrived yesterday, but I wasn't able to take pictures and what would a Sugarpill post be without pictures?!
I did tweet about it though :)

I did get some pictures today though, so here they are along with a (quite long) review!

High Voltage Cosmetics: Swatches

POTD: Makeup Forever "10 Black" Glitter

I've only used the MUFE glitter in one FOTD so I felt like I had to share my love for this product in a POTD post :)

I had been looking for black glitter for the longest time, and came across this little baby in Sephora when I was in Canada.

Now, since it is black it isn't as glittery as a colored glitter, but it's amazing for adding cool effects to dark smokey eyes!
