What's the point of posting a look when I don't remember the products I used?

Sugarpill Electrocutes

I'd been wanting the Sugarpill Electrocute sparkling neon pigments since they came out a year ago but I honestly haven't bought a lot of makeup in that period. I finally gave in and bought all the Electrocutes and the Heart Breaker palette and I'm super excited!

Now, lets be honest: Neon and glitter are tough things to work with and the combination in the Electrocutes is no exception. They're a pain! But since I can't think of anything else with a similar look, I'm willing to work with it ;)

Right now, my biggest problem is that with all the hard work of applying the colors, I still can't seem to get good pictures of it!

My hair's purple!

Long story short: The purple hair was very impulsive - choice of dye included. It didn't turn out as I expected, but it's growing on me. No pun intended...

The best thing: Nothing makes makeup more fun than a new hair color!

Absinthe + Nylon

It's still super hot and summery here (by Danish standards) and I can't think of a better excuse for minimal eye makeup and super bright lips.

Not that you'd ever really need an excuse for wearing Nylon lip tar, but you get the point :)

Also, let me take a moment to (repeat myself and) tell you how much I love Sugarpill Absinthe! It's super bright but also very easy to blend out and use in a look like this.

Graphic Green

I'm sticking with the bright summer colors but taking a break from the Electric palette. I quite like how simple and wearable this look is even though it features bright colors and a dramatic shape.

Fun, fun, fun! :)

UD Electric look

I've got some good news to share: I can officially call myself Bachelor of Science in Computer Science!

Also, a bit more exciting for the blog (but slightly less exciting for my life ;) ) : I got the Urban Decay Electric palette for my birthday = IT'S PLAY TIME!

Glittery birthday look!

I guess you could say that glitter is to makeup what 42 is to the question about life, the universe and everything. The answer. The ultimate answer.

Today's problem: Having to spend most of my 23rd birthday reading linear algebra.

Solution: Wearing glitter!

And you know what? I had a great day!

It probably had a lot to due with the fact that I had a ton of cake* in great company but I'd like to give credit to the glitter as well ;)

Absinthe

Have you ever tried doing your makeup, liking or loving the result, only to find a number of things you wanted to change with the look when you take pictures of it?
This was one of those times for me...

While I love the green color (thanks, Kryolan UV green and Sugarpill Absinthe!) the liner is wonky (thanks, MAC Shade fluidline for drying out on me) and I completely forgot to put on lashes! Man, I wanted to wear lashes with this! Oh well ;)

Anime

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of pink. Especially when it's neon and on my lips.

Glitter blues

Hello there! I'm so glad you're still following the blog even though it's been a (very long) while since the last update.

My skin problems haven't cleared up at all but at least I have some good days in between the bad ones, and so I've decided to get back into the colorful world of makeup on those good days! :)

Monochromatic greens

I've definitely started wearing more bright colors again(yay!), but my next project is getting in to fun color combos again as well.

This is really just simple and... Green ;)

I've been super busy with school and exams - I spent 80 hours at the university one week! Pretty crazy.

Crazy new hair and matching makeup :D

OK, so the makeup isn't actually "matching" my new hair at all, but I definitely did the makeup with the hair in mind. I just love greens and purples with red hair! :)

You won't believe how happy I am that I finally have the chance to post FOTD pictures!
I've been stressed out with exams and haven't had the energy to do makeup at all, but I've missed it so much! Hope you're all doing great :)

For some reason, Photobucked decided to tone down the vibrancy of the colors in these pictures, so they're not as good as they shold be. Sorry about that, but I have no idea what to do about it! :(

FOTD w/ Glamour Doll Eyes' 80s Child

I mostly did this look because I wanted to use some of the colors from the 80s Child collection from Glamour Doll Eyes :)

I was uploading pictures from my camera (because I'm editing a tutorial! Wow ;) ) and came across these pictures!
They're of a quick look I did with some of the A Tartan Tale products when we had a workshop at work.

Green brows?!

Wow, I've missed blogging! Basically, I've been busy with school and getting to know a ton of new people there, so blogging hasn't really been a top priority, unfortunately :/
I really, really hope to get back into blogging regularly, but I don't know when that'll happen. After all, it's "just" a hobby for me.
