Zoffe's makeup: All nighter

All nighter

I was in a terrible hurry when taking these pictures (as I usually am when I'm on my way to work, lol!) so I the lash glue isn't completely dry and I didn't even put the gloss coat on top of the pro longwear lip color, so I'll apologize for that! ;)

I used to wear it All Nighter on my lips and then put MAC Paint in Flammable or MAC Paint in Graphito on my eyes. I tended to only wear one color (dark) on my lids at that time.

Holy cow, I don't think I've ever seen somebody pull off a dark, dark lippie so well before! This is something I've been thinking a lot about lately, "pulling things off," how certain colours or shades or trends can look so right on some people, but soooo very wrong on others. Why do you think that is? Is it a personality thing, maybe, or a personal style thing? Is it just as simple as a person's colouring being "right" or "wrong" for the look? Do you think skill in application impacts one's ability to pull something off? Ha ha maybe I'm the only person who finds this interesting, but I'd love to know what you think on the subject, since you do so many edgy looks.

Those are some really interesting questions and it's something I've been thinking about a lot and asked quite a lot as well.
I've been thinking about doing a post on the whole "pulling things off" subject for a while, so I might just have to do it now since you asked! :)
