A fun spring look! :)

I got a request to do a look using yellow, green and teal, so here it is! :)

Viva Glam: From our Lips has raised more than $1.5 million!

In the first two weeks from its release, the newest Viva Glam campaign, with Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga as spokespersons, has helped raise more than $1.5 MILLION to the MAC Aids fund.

And if that wasn't enough, those two weeks were the weeks that the lipsticks were available in North America only!
Imagine how much money the campaign has raised after being released world wide!

This makes "From Our Lips", as the campaign is called, the most successful Viva Glam campaign to date.

Pretty amazing, isn't it?

Poll: Should I do "favorites of the month"?

I know, I know...
Doing a video or blog post about my monthly favorites isn't exactly a innovative idea, but I always enjoy watching/reading other peoples' posts like that, so I think I'll follow the trend and start posting mine as well! ;)

Now the big question is: Video or blog post?!
I think I'm leaning more towards the video... That way I can still post the video here along with a list of the products featured in the video.

Thoughts? :)

Review + Swatch: Glamour Doll Eyes

I had actually been wanting to try out some products from Glamour Doll Eyes for a long time so I was super happy to get these products sent to do a review on them.

I'm working on it though, and the review is coming up very soon :)
I'll tell you one thing though: I'm happy with the things, and have already ordered more! (which I paid for myself, obviously)

This isn't my first time using the products, but I think it's the first time I post pictures :)

Twice a year, MAC describes and names the four or five biggest trends seen in makeup on the runways.
I'm going to be doing a series of posts about the current trends - the ones for Spring and Summer 2010!

Now, I personally don't see the trends as something you need to follow or anything like that. I see it as another source of inspiration and I always like to recreate the trends to be inspired and to discover new products and techniques.
But do I care if my FOTD fits into one of the trends? Not at all! :)

As many others, I've been super inspired by all the amazing makeup in the Lady Gaga feat. Beyoncé Telephone video, and part of me want to do some tutorials with looks from the video, but I'm not sure if anyone would want to see my videos since there are so many Telephone tutorials up already.

So I'm asking you for help :)

I finally got my hands on the new MAC Viva Glam lipsticks!
And what better way to celebrate than to do a looks using them? ;)

I decided to use Cindy first, and here's what I did :)
It's definitely a more toned down look, so I hope to think of something fun to do for the Gaga lipstick look!

FOTD: Poisoned Apple

As much as I love bright, fun and dramatic looks, I actually like simple looks as well ;)
I rarely go completely neutral with my makeup though - a little colored eyeliner or bright lipstick is a must :P
For this look, I used High Voltage Cosmetics' Poisoned Apple e/s as an eyeliner.
